Library Home Services

The library makes monthly deliveries of library materials to homebound residents within the city of Amery. The library partners with Interfaith Caregivers of Polk County to deliver library materials to homebound rural residents. The Library Home Services brochure provides an overiew of the program and includes information on signing up.

The library has several desktop video magnifiers that may be borrowed for home use. These magnifiers were originally purchased by the Amery Lions Club and were donated to the library in 2015.

The Wisconsin Talking Book and Braille Library and the National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped, part of the Library of Congress, offer books, magazines and specialized equipment to patrons who cannot see to read regular print or cannot handle printed materials because of a disability. The Wisconsin Educational Services Program Deaf and Hard of Hearing Educational Resource Library offers materials intended for use by Wisconsin residents who are deaf, hard of hearing, or deaf-blind, their families, students and professionals.
